During this sessions, young researchers will have the opportunity to attend various lectures by the principal investigators in the project, who are leading European researchers in photonics and artificial intelligence, as well as an excursion and a poster session, among many other activities. The mid-term check meeting will also take place in the framework of this school (October 4th).
They will also have the chance to participate in two workshops led by Dr. Ilona Lipp: the first titled Effective Communication for Successful Projects and the second titled Responsible Research and Open Science.

Effective Communication for Successful Projects
Effective communication is ensuring clarity of goals and roles, fosters collaboration among team members, and minimizes misunderstandings and conflicts and is thus the basis for successful project management. During this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to experiment with communication and leadership strategies in a supportive, interactive environment, gaining practical insights to apply in real-world project scenarios. The specific topics covered include giving constructive feedback, preventing and recognizing miscommunications and moderating meetings effectively.
Responsible Research and Open Science
In today’s global research landscape, the topics of responsible research and open science are gaining significant traction. This interactive workshop provides an overview of the current movements and reforms, with a particular focus on EU-driven efforts. Furthermore, the workshop facilitates reflective discussions on how these developments shape
participants’ own research practices and career prospects.
